TPMS servicing & repairs in Mildenhall

Warning lights, sensors and the right next step for your car.

What does TPMS do?

A Tyre Pressure Monitoring System alerts you when tyre pressure may be too low. Correct pressures help your tyres work as intended. Regular manual pressure checks are still important, even when the warning light is off.

Two systems. Different checks.

Direct systems use sensors inside the wheels to measure pressure and send information to the vehicle. Indirect systems use wheel-speed information to detect changes that may indicate pressure loss. The diagnosis and reset procedure depend on the vehicle and the system fitted.

When the warning light comes on

Find a safe place to stop and check the tyres and pressures against the vehicle manufacturer’s guidance. A recurring warning can be caused by a puncture, a leaking valve or a system fault. Flashing followed by a steady light can indicate a malfunction, but check your handbook for the meaning on your vehicle. If a tyre is flat, damaged or losing pressure rapidly, arrange assistance before continuing. Simply clearing the warning does not repair the cause.

Specialist equipment. Sensors in stock.

At Vince’s Tyre & Auto, TPMS is one of our specialities. We’ve invested in advanced diagnostic and programming equipment and keep many popular TPMS sensors in stock. We can investigate faults and pressure loss, service suitable valve components, replace compatible sensors, and carry out programming and the required reset or relearn procedure. We check what your vehicle needs before recommending work. Sensor availability and compatibility are confirmed for each vehicle.

What to tell us

Have your registration ready and describe the warning. Tell us whether it started after a tyre or wheel change, whether pressures keep falling, and if the light flashes or stays on. Ask Vince or call to discuss your vehicle. Keeping you informed. Keeping your tyres cared for. Helping you drive towards a safer tomorrow.
